Lucy A. Vezzuto, PhD, is a Fulbright Scholar in Education and a Coordinator of Student Mental Health and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) at the Orange County Dept. of Education. She provides training and technical assistance for youth-serving professionals in the prevention and early identification of student mental health issues and systemic implementation of schoolwide SEL. She is a member of the California Dept. of Education’s Student Mental Health Policy Workgroup. She conducts the Resilient Mindful Learner Project, a MHSA-funded training on stress management, mindfulness, and resilience for educators and their students.
