Hallie teachers reading/language arts methods courses at CSU Fullerton and supports faculty throughout the CSU system through her work with CDSU Center for the Advancement of Reading and Writing. She is one of the lead co-authors of California's ELA/ELD Framework and accompanying executive summary. Shea also authored a white paper on the foundational skills for the California Department of Education, and she contributed to CDE/SCOE's Transitional Kindergarten Professional Learning Modules. Hallie taught kindergarten and first grade in a bilingual setting for many years.
